Transit to Christchurch 13/9/13
Friday the thirteenth on 2013 not sure if that makes it more unlucky or less. Today we were driving to to Christchurch a 350km or so drive from Blenheim. We packed up and set off then were stopped as the laundry company blocked our exit for a bit. Once they were gone we got going stopping at a mobil petrol station to fill up grab some sandwiches and some monsters.
Blenheim 12/9/13
We got up earlish and it looked like the weather was a touch better still blowy but not raining. We packed up and loaded up the car ready to go checked out of the hotel and headed out for food. We grabbed a sandwich from subway and then had a look around for some materials for a time lapse container for the boat trip between the islands.
Wellington Day 3 11/9/13
We had a fairly late start as Byrnie had come down with something, I felt a bit off myself sore throat and the like. It was a really nasty day too as blowy as yesterday and now raining too. We had panned to hit the museums today but given the horrible weather and the illness we weren’t really up to it. After some caffeine and some pain pills and several games of Xcom we decided to try and at least do something.
